Meeting with Prof.Dr. Kemal Kirişçi, Director of Turkey Project at Brookings

AmCham Turkey/ABFT hosted Prof. Dr. Kemal Kirişçi, Director of Center on the United States and Europe's Turkey Project at Brookings Institute, on December 4th, 2021 at ABFT office.
Following Mr. Kirişçi's presentation entitled “Anchoring Turkey in the Transatlantic Community through TTIP: Challenges and Prospects”, the Panel continued with a brief Q&A session. The main themes of the Panel were the nature of the TTIP, the challenges and prospects it poses for Turkey, and Turkey's positioning within the TTIP framework.
The participants of the meeting were GE Country Manager and ABFT Board Member Ms. Canan Özsoy, ABFT member companies such as Edwards Wildman, Herrick Law, BTS&Partners, and ABFT Executive Director Ms. Elif Demircan.
This meeting was part of AmCham Turkey/ABFT's efforts to closely monitor "The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP)" provided that it has implications for Turkey's economy and relations between the U.S.- Turkey.
