The enormous potential for growth and expansion in Turkey�s economy is accepted universally. But while in recent years Turkey has secured the kind of macroeconomic stability required for value-added production and services, it has not yet reached its full capacity in these areas. The economy is still concentrated in a limited number of sectors, where other countries compete or are rapidly gaining ground.
High-productivity growth is necessary for Turkey's economy to realize and sustain its global competitiveness in coming years, and thereby improve living standards and enhance opportunities for Turkish citizens.
